RYDESTORE VENDOR VETTING REQUIREMENTS

All vendors must submit the following for verification:

Business name
Registered business number (if applicable)
Full name of business owner or authorised representative
Certified copy of ID or passport (owner/representative)
Proof of business address
Valid contact number and email address
Bank account confirmation (account holder name must match business/owner)
Product name(s) and category
Clear product image(s) (actual product, not stock images)
Basic product description
Ingredient list or material composition (where applicable)
Any required certification or compliance documents (if applicable to product type)

Submission of the above does not guarantee approval. RYDE reserves the right to request additional documentation where necessary.

RYDE SERVICE PROVIDER VETTING REQUIREMENTS

All service providers must submit the following supporting documents for verification. Additional onboarding requirements may apply based on service category.

Full name and surname
Valid government-issued ID or passport
Professional qualification certificate(s) relevant to the service category
Proof of professional registration with relevant governing body (where applicable)
Valid practice license or permit (where applicable)
Police clearance certificate or background check (mandatory for all categories)
Proof of physical address
Valid contact number and email address
Profile photo (clear and professional)

RYDE SERVICE USER (RIDER) VETTING REQUIREMENTS

All service users must submit the following for verification before accessing RYDE services:

Full name and surname
Valid government-issued ID or passport number
Date of birth (must meet minimum age requirements)
Certified copy of ID or passport (where required)
Valid mobile phone number
Email address
Residential address or general location information
Emergency contact details (name and phone number)
Profile photo (clear and identifiable)
Payment method details (where applicable)
Acceptance of RYDE Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of RYDE Privacy Policy (POPIA compliance consent)

Submission of the above does not guarantee approval. RYDE reserves the right to request additional verification where necessary for safety, compliance, or fraud prevention purposes.

RYDE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION
1.1 RYDE is a Pan-African digital mobility, service, and marketplace platform operating across multiple jurisdictions.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions govern all users, service providers, vendors, applicants, and partners.
1.3 By accessing or using RYDE, users agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1.4 RYDE reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time.
1.5 Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
DEFINITIONS
2.1 Account Holder means any registered user of the platform.
2.2 Applicant means any person awaiting approval or vetting.
2.3 Vetted Member means a successfully verified and approved user.
2.4 Service Partner means drivers, professionals, or providers on the platform.
2.5 Vendor means commercial sellers on RYDESTORE.
2.6 Platform means all RYDE digital systems.
2.7 Tier means structured membership level classification.
2.8 Reference Number means unique application tracking ID.
2.9 Subscription means recurring platform-based payment plan.
2.10 Vetting means identity, qualification, and compliance verification process.
ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Users must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.
3.2 Users must comply with applicable local and international laws.
3.3 Users must pass required vetting procedures before activation.
3.4 RYDE reserves full discretion to approve or reject any application.
3.5 RYDE may revoke access without obligation to provide reasons.
3.6 Users under 18 require verified parental or guardian consent.
3.7 Certain services may require minimum age thresholds per region.
APPLICATION & VETTING PROCESS
4.1 All users must submit a formal application.
4.2 A non-refundable application fee is required before processing.
4.3 Applications are only reviewed after confirmed payment.
4.4 Vetting may include identity verification, background checks, and qualification validation.
4.5 False information results in permanent disqualification.
4.6 Submission does not guarantee approval.
4.7 RYDE may reject applications without explanation.
4.8 No application proceeds without proof of payment.
4.9 Any attempt to bypass vetting is strictly prohibited.
REGISTRATION RULES
5.1 Only vetted members may complete registration.
5.2 Accounts are strictly non-transferable.
5.3 Account sharing is prohibited.
5.4 Each user must maintain a single verified identity.
5.5 Duplicate or fake accounts will be terminated.
TIER STRUCTURE (PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE)
6.1 Passenger tiers include Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Emerald.
6.2 Service provider tiers include Partner, Patron, Premier, Titan.
6.3 Tier allocation determines pricing, access, and benefits.
6.4 Tier upgrades are subject to compliance and performance.
6.5 Tier benefits may vary by region and availability.
6.6 RYDE reserves the right to restructure tiers at any time.
SERVICE PROVIDER PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
7.1 All service providers must hold valid identification and licenses.
7.2 Drivers must possess a valid public driving license.
7.3 Health professionals must be certified and registered with relevant authorities.
7.4 Security personnel must hold recognized training certifications.
7.5 Education and childcare providers must hold verified qualifications.
7.6 Providers must maintain ongoing compliance with regulatory bodies.
7.7 Failure to maintain compliance results in suspension or removal.
PLATFORM CONDUCT RULES
8.1 Users must behave respectfully and lawfully at all times.
8.2 Discrimination, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited.
8.3 Fraud, manipulation, or exploitation of the platform is prohibited.
8.4 Fake identity or impersonation results in immediate termination.
8.5 Any attempt to corrupt vetting or buy profiles is prohibited.
8.6 Profile exchange or transfer results in permanent ban.
8.7 Tardiness affecting service performance may result in penalties.
PAYMENTS & FEES
9.1 All payments must be made through approved RYDE channels.
9.2 Fees may include subscriptions, applications, and service charges.
9.3 RYDE reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time.
9.4 Subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
9.5 Service earnings are calculated based on tier and activity.
9.6 Payment delays may occur due to processing cycles.
9.7 Users agree to applicable transaction fees and deductions.
SUBSCRIPTION REWARDS & EARNINGS STRUCTURE
10.1 Subscription rewards are distributed based on completed transactions.
10.2 Earnings may be weighted by performance and user rating.
10.3 Service provider commission structure: 10.3.1 Partner: 0.8%
10.3.2 Patron: 1.2%
10.3.3 Premier: 1.8%
10.3.4 Titan: 2.5%
10.4 Earnings are processed monthly in arrears.
10.5 Example: January earnings paid end of February.
10.6 RYDE reserves the right to adjust percentages.
REFERRAL PROGRAM
11.1 Referral bonuses apply for eligible users only.
11.2 Referral duration is limited to three (3) months per referral.
11.3 Month 1: 1.8% of subscription value
11.4 Month 2: 1.0%
11.5 Month 3: 0.5%
11.6 After month 3, referral earnings automatically expire.
11.7 Fraudulent referrals result in termination.
REFUNDS POLICY
12.1 Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days.
12.2 Refunds require valid justification and supporting evidence.
12.3 Approved refunds are processed within 30 days.
12.4 Requests submitted after 7 days are automatically declined.
12.5 Application fees are strictly non-refundable.
EQUIPMENT & ASSETS
13.1 RYDE-issued equipment remains property of RYDE.
13.2 This includes tracking devices, cameras, and monitoring tools.
13.3 Damage, loss, or theft of equipment is the responsibility of the user.
13.4 Users may be charged replacement costs.
13.5 Unauthorized modification of equipment is prohibited.
TRAINING & COMPLIANCE
14.1 All service providers must complete mandatory training.
14.2 Training is required for system understanding and compliance.
14.3 Attendance is compulsory for continued platform access.
14.4 Failure to attend training may result in suspension.
14.5 Continuous professional conduct is required at all times.
SAFETY & BEHAVIOUR STANDARDS
15.1 Users must ensure safe service delivery at all times.
15.2 Violence or threats are strictly prohibited.
15.3 Unsafe conduct results in immediate suspension.
15.4 RYDE may conduct safety audits at any time.
TERMINATION & SUSPENSION
16.1 RYDE may suspend or terminate accounts at any time.
16.2 Grounds include fraud, misconduct, or violation of terms.
16.3 Termination may be immediate without prior notice.
16.4 Users forfeit platform access upon termination.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
17.1 RYDE is not liable for indirect losses or damages.
17.2 Users assume responsibility for use of the platform.
17.3 RYDE does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
17.4 Third-party actions are not under RYDE control.
CROSS-BORDER OPERATIONS
18.1 RYDE operates across multiple African jurisdictions.
18.2 Services may vary by country and regulatory environment.
18.3 Currency differences may affect pricing and payouts.
18.4 Users consent to cross-border data and payment processing.
18.5 RYDE may restrict services regionally where required.
ANTI-CORRUPTION & FRAUD CONTROL
19.1 Bribery or manipulation of vetting is strictly prohibited.
19.2 Any corruption attempt results in permanent ban.
19.3 Fraud detection systems may be used.
19.4 RYDE reserves right to report illegal activity.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
20.1 Disputes must be submitted through official channels.
20.2 Internal resolution process applies first.
20.3 Arbitration may be used where necessary.
20.4 South African law governs all disputes.
FINAL CLAUSES
21.1 These Terms constitute the full agreement between users and RYDE.
21.2 No verbal agreements override these Terms.
21.3 If any clause is invalid, the rest remains enforceable.
